Storms to bring heavy rain and damaging wind gusts to Maryland on Friday


Maryland's unsettled pattern continues tomorrow as strong to severe storms move into the region.

Rain and storms will arrive late tomorrow afternoon and last into the night. This means impacts to the evening commute and impacts for those with plans tomorrow night.

Before rain moves in tomorrow, highs will reach the upper 70s. Saturday's highs will be in the low 70s with the chance of scattered storms. Sunday will follow with a dry forecast, and that dry pattern will last throughout most of the week. Expect a big warmup too. Highs will approach 90 by the end of the week.
